Common questions

Good to know

Where can gypsum plaster be used?
On most internal surfaces including brick, block and concrete. It's for interior use only and should not be used where walls are hosed down, in showers or in industrial kitchens.
How should the plaster be stored?
Store inside on a level surface, off the floor, in a dry place protected from the weather. Shelf life is approximately 8 months from manufacture when stored dry.
Do I need to cure it with water?
No — gypsum plaster doesn't require water curing, and it avoids shrinkage cracks.
How do I get the best bond on concrete?
Treat the surface with Gyp Bond before plastering. Pre-wet, apply with a brush or roller, let it dry for around 24 hours, then plaster.
Who do I contact for application advice?
